Unfortunately the upkeep of our wonderful horses is not cheap.
The average cost of keeping one horse per year is $2150.
This includes farrier costs, feed and hay, tack, vet bills and miscellaneous.
At present we have 7 horses, which cost us a total of over $15,000 per year, which we must
raise entirely through donations.

Info: Honey is our littlest pony and is perfect for our smaller riders. She is very sweet and patient.

Info: Summer is an appaloosa. She has been to pony club and won lots of ribbons at shows. Summer has had a foal who looks just like her! |

Clyde
Height: 13.2hh
Age: 14
Info: Clyde was kindly purchased with sponsorship from the Dunedin Casino Trust. He is a lovely pony and perfect for RDA. He has done lots of showing and pony club and comes from Clyde!

Daisy

Age: 7
Info: Daisy is a Warmblood and is sired by the Holsteiner stallion Corlando. She has a very laid back nature and loves attention. She has a twin brother who is slightly bigger than she is. |

Chanty
Height: 15hh
Age: 21
Info: Chanty is a Quarterhorse and used to be a champion barrel racer. She is very sensitive so is not usually ridden off the lead. Chanty was purchased with the kind help of ANZ.

Barney
Height: 15.2hh
Age: 21
Info: Barney is our biggest horse and is great for our heavier riders. He is very safe and lazy and won't go any faster than he has to! He has quite a swayed back so is ridden in a special treeless saddle that fits him and is very comfortable.
